Gopi Kottoor
Kottoor is perhaps best known for his long poem, Father, Wake Us In Passing. He won the All-India Special Poetry Prize in 1997 and his poems have featured in special editions of Verse and Fulcrum on contemporary Indian poetry in English. In 2005, Kottoor was Poet-in-Residence in the University of Augsburg, Germany. He lives in Chennai, Tamil Nad, India.
