Steven Van-Hagen

Van-Hagen is associate head of the Department of English and History, and programme leader for BA Hons English Literature at Edge Hill University, Lancashire. His primary field of academic study is the poetry of the 'long' 18th century. Most of his publications are in the field of labouring-class poetry, and in 2005 he selected, edited and introduced The Life and Lucubrations of Crispinus Scriblerus: A Selection (The Cyder Press), comprising extracts from James Woodhouse's autobiographical epic.
