Sharma, Yuyutsu RD

Sharma has published eight poetry collections including Space Cake, Amsterdam, & Other Poems from Europe and America, (Howling Dog Press 2009), Annapurna Poems, (Nirala 2008) and Everest Failures (White Lotus Book Shop 2008). He has translated and edited several anthologies of contemporary Nepali poetry in English and launched a literary movement, Kathya Kayakalpa (Content Metamorphosis) in Nepali poetry. Yuyutsu's own work has been translated into German, French, Italian, Slovenian, Hebrew, Spanish and Dutch. He edits Pratik, A Magazine of Contemporary Writing and contributes literary columns to Nepal's leading daily, The Himalayan Times and The Kathmandu Post.

Sharpe, Claire

Sharpe's poetry has been shortlisted for the 2007 CBC Literary Awards, accepted for publication by Contemporary Verse 2, and published in journals including The Antigonish Review, echolocation, Misunderstandings Magazine, Dream Catcher, Staple, Magma and Oxford Magazine. Claire received her MA in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia.

Shields, Andrew

Shields lives in Switzerland. His latest book is his second volume of translations of poems by the German poet Dieter M Gräf, Tussi Research (Green Integer, 2007).

Shuttle, Penelope

Shuttle has lived in Falmouth, Cornwall, since 1970. Her collection Redgrove's Wife (Bloodaxe 2006) was shortlisted for the Forward and TS Eliot prizes. Adventures With My Horse (OUP 1988) was re-issued by The Poetry Book Society in 2007 as part of their series Back In Print. She co-authored The Wise Wound with her husband, Peter Redgrove, who died in 2003. Her work can be heard at The Poetry Archive.
