Chernobyl

On 26 April, 1986, an explosion at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in northern Ukraine exploded caused what the United Nations has called “the greatest environmental catastrophe in the history of humanity”. The statue of Prometheus stealing fire from the gods was moved from the centre of town to the power plant after the explosion.
