Because I await nothing -
not Godot or Lefty
epiphany
the Second Coming
to see an honest politician
to experience good works reciprocated or
the triumph of good over evil or
my Muse, who comes at her own whim or
my money's worth or
fulfilment of sweet promisings -
I get a lot accomplished.
