Symptoms, Pleasant & Wedding food

Symptoms
What are your symptoms?
Something is hurting me.
Must you operate heavy machinery?
Only the machinery of society as we know it.
Do you handle vibrating tools?
Just the vibrations of the earth.
Pleasant
What no one wants sex to be. What love
never is. A nice meal, the weather.
Not too much this or that. How I
don't feel when I think about you,
or you, or you. A drive in a car.
Wedding food
Here we are dancing the chicken dance
and laughing about at least three things.
We're gossiping about the bride and groom
and everyone in the room. We're in
the gossip too. I'm pretty with crazy hair.
We stay until the limo arrives. The bad dinner
sits in our stomachs. The ice sculpture
plunks over the balcony rail into the snow.
